Literary evening of Pepeliaev Group
On 17 May 2017 in St Petersburg , Pepeliaev Group held its traditional closed reception for its clients. This time the guests were invited to the legendary restaurant Staraya Tamozhnya, which in Russian means 'The Old Customs Office'. The building where the restaurant is located was constructed under the order of Peter the Great to keep customs cargoes secure from floods. This year’s event was took the form of a literary evening: the guests enjoyed satirical poetry and prose read by the peerless St Petersburg actress Victoria Zaitseva. They also participated in contests that went beyond the ordinary, and, of course, enjoyed convivial conversation with friends and colleagues over a glass of wine.

Notte Don Sergio
On 18 May, Pepeliaev Group invited friends of the firm to the 'Notte Don Sergio’ party at a bar in Rubinstein Street as part of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum. Don Sergio personally welcomed the guests at the bar terrace, offering them Aperol, cocktails and Italian delicatessen. Valery Syutkin and musicians from Italy entertained the guests. On 18 May, the discussion session on “The development of legal mechanisms for regulating the environmental operations of businesses” was held. It was organised by PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel in collaboration with law firm Pepeliaev Group as a part of the VII St Petersburg International Legal Forum. The session was moderated by Alexander Zavtrik, Head of the Legal Department at PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel and Sergey Pepeliaev, Pepeliaev Group's Managing Partner The representatives of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment, the Ministry of Economic Development, the field-specific Committee at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of the academic community and big business took part in the discussion session.

Pepeliaev Partners from Pepeliaev Group have held seminars in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou during the firm’s latest business mission to China
In April 2017, partners from Pepeliaev Group undertook another business mission to China. During their visit, they staged seminars for Chinese business figures in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou. The business mission was arranged with the support of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation and featured senior partner Rustem Ahmetshin along with partners Natalia Stenina and Yuri Vorobyev.
