Pepeliaev Group’s partner speaks at the RICS conference at MIPIM (Cannes)
Pepeliaev Group has taken part in the conference “Just Imagine: Real Estate 2030" organised by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The event took place on 11 March 2014 in Cannes at the 25th property exhibition MIPIM 2014.
At the RICS conference, various practical professional issues were discussed, including the operation of buildings, assessment and information modelling of buildings, as well as agency.
During the discussion, Alexey Konevsky, Partner at Pepeliaev Group, addressed legal aspects of Russia’s real estate and construction sector, including opportunities for foreign investment.
Michael Newey, President of RICS, spoke on the results of recent research obtained within the “RICS – Future” project. He suggested how the real estate market and professions related to it would take shape by 2030.
Other participants included Steve Norris, ex-candidate for the Mayor of London and President of Soho Estates; Neil Singer, CEO of Singer Vielle; and Professor Hugh Kelly, President of Schack Institute of Real Estate and Adviser for Real Estate Issues, among others.
