Alexander is a corporate lawyer who specialises in foreign investments in the People's Republic of China. He has more than 10 years of experience in advising the clients on establishing joint ventures and companies with 100% foreign capital and representative offices, as well as structuring transactions, entering into contracts, protecting IP and handling other issues that relate to establishing and regulating foreign business in China.
Alexander graduated from the Chinese Department at the Far Eastern State University in Vladivostok and the Law department at the Shandong University in Jinan, PRC.
Alexander is a member of several Chinese trade associations, including China Mergers&Acquisitions Association, and the China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. He has close amicable and professional relationships with the heads of and partners in large and medium-sized Chinese law firms.
He is the only Russian arbitrator at the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre, is counsel to the Russian Chamber of Commerce, and is a representative of the OPORA RUSSIA (The all-Russian non-governmental organization of small and medium business) in Beijing and one of the founders of the Centre of legal help for Russians in China, Chinahelp.me.
