Successfully implementing a project involving the dismissal of a group of employees of a large retail chain Pepeliaev Group's lawyers successfully provided support in the framework of a project involving the dismissal of a group of employees of a major retail chain operating in Russia.
Pepeliaev Group's lawyers successfully provided support in the framework of a project involving the dismissal of a group of employees of a major retail chain operating in Russia in connection with a shortfall in property identified in one of the stores. The work included conducting an internal investigation as well as taking an inventory with regard to the facts identified and providing support during the dismissal of the employees on various grounds. We also handled employment lawsuits regarding reinstatement. All employees connected with the shortfall were dismissed from the company. More than 10 employees acting in collusion were found guilty of being involved in the shortfall. As a result, a stop was put to similar situations with shortfalls in other stores. Several employees disagreed with their dismissal, but their claims were dismissed in full.
