Mikhail - expert in the field of foreign investment in China, corporate and contract law. He has more than 15 years of experience consulting clients on joint ventures, WFOE and representative offices, as well as on a wide range of issues related to the legal support of foreign business in China.
Mikhail has graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Far Eastern State University (FEFU), in 1993, had studied at Dalian University of foreign languages, China (1991) and at the Law Department of Fudan University, Shanghai(1996-1998). Before moving to China in 1996, Mikhail has taught at the Department of International and Foreign Law at the Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service, was a fellow in the Department of Theory and History of Private Law in the Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnography, Far Eastern branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Mikhail has complied the collection of laws of the People's Republic of China in a book "Contract in Chinese Law" (Printed by Far Eastern branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladivostok, 1996). From autumn 2014, he is a head of the Centre for Legal Protection and Support of Compatriots in China. He is also a co-author of the website "Emergency legal support in China" (www.chinahelp.me).
Head of the World Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots. Mikhail has been recognized and awarded with letters of gratitude and certificates from Ambassador of Russia to China (twice), from the mayor of Vladivostok.
Mikhail speaks Mandarin Chinese.
