Pepeliaev Group leads the ‘Rating of lawyers and their firms’ which has been compiled for the first time by Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Thirty experts from Pepeliaev Group have been listed in the ‘Rating of lawyers and their firms’ which has been compiled for the first time by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Out of those, 18 specialists were ranked in Tier 1 of the Rating. More importantly, some of them were nominated in several categories. Senior partner and the head of our St Petersburg Office Sergey Spasennov featured in the ‘Corporate law’ and ‘M&A’ categories; partner Yuri Vorobiev in ‘Arbitration’ and ‘Dispute resolution’ (general jurisdiction); partner Ilya Bolotnov in ‘Corporate law’ and ‘International projects’; partner Nikolay Solodovnikov in ‘Corporate law’ and ‘M&A’; senior partners Rustem Ahmetshin and Sergey Savseris in ‘Taxes’; partners Natalia Kovalenko, Anton Nikiforov and Andrey Tereschenko in ‘Taxes’; partners Natalia Stenina and Alexey Konevsky in ‘Real estate and utilities’, partner Yulia Litovtseva in ‘Bankruptcy’; partner Anna Berlina in ‘Employment law’; partner Valentina Orlova in ‘Intellectual property’; partner Konstantin Sharlovskiy in ‘Life sciences’; head of the banking and finance practice Lidia Gorshkova in ‘Corporate law’; head of the land and real estate practice Elena Krestyantseva (St Petersburg) in ‘Real estate and utilities’; and head of the digital group Polina Bardina in ‘Digital assets and their management’.

Nine experts from Pepeliaev Group were listed in Tier 2 of the Rating. Head of the administrative law defence of business group Natalia Travkina in ‘Arbitration’ and ‘Dispute resolution’ (general jurisdiction); partner Sergey Sosnovsky (St Petersburg) in ‘Taxes’; head of the Siberian Office Egor Lysenko in ‘Arbitration’; head of the representative office in the Republic of Tatarstan Aidar Sultanov in ‘Arbitration’, head of the banking and finance practice Lidia Gorshkova in ‘M&A’, head of a tax practice Narine Khachatryan in ‘Taxes’; head of the employment and migration law practice group Vitalia Kuznetsova in ‘Employment law’; and senior associates Olga Syachinova and Alexandra Chernova in ‘Dispute resolution’ (general jurisdiction).

Tier 3 of the Rating includes another five experts of our firm. Partner and head of the Far East Office Natalia Prisekina in ‘Arbitration’; head of the Sakhalin Office Andrey Mikulin in ‘Taxes’; senior associates Olga Syachinova and Alexandra Chernova in ‘Arbitration; and senior associate Ekaterina Martemianova (Krasnoyarsk) in ‘Taxes’.

Tier 4 names senior associate Viktoria Krupina (Vladivostok) in the ‘Arbitration’ category.
Aidar Sultanov has been nominated in the special category ‘Lawyers – educators’ in Tier 1 of the Rating.

The founders of the Rating have noted that this category is personalised and is not pegged to the location of a particular specialist. Tier 1 names top-notch specialists in a relevant sector, Tier 2 includes excellent specialists who are undoubtedly worthy of being recommended, Tier 3 ranks very good specialists, Tier 4 lists good specialists who are worth noting, and Tier 5 covers well-deserved nominees who, however, could not have been ranked higher because of the scale of the projects they have been involved in.
