30.06.2016
Pepeliaev Group has reinforced its Corporate Division. In June 2016, we welcomed Radmila Nikitina, Alexander Shugaev and Sergey Lapin to our team.

Radmila Nikitina, a noted commercial and antitrust law specialist, will head the firm's Commercial Practice. She has significant experience in advising Russian and foreign companies on issues relating to cartels, the implementation of concerted practices, restrictive agreements, abuse of a dominant position and unfair competition. In one of her recent major projects, Radmila represented a subsidiary of Gazprom in an investigation into a cartel agreement entered into by producers of steel pipes. Radmila features in the Best Lawyers ratings.

She succeeds Oxana Migitko, who previously led Pepeliaev Group’s Commercial Practice, but who has now taken study leave.

Alexander Shugaev, appointed as an Associate, joins Radmila in the Commercial Practice. Alexander will advise clients on applying antimonopoly, civil and land legislation as well as with respect to structuring transactions of all levels of complexity.

Also new to the firm is Senior Associate Sergey Lapin, who joins Pepeliaev Group’s Corporate Practice headed by Nikolay Solodovnikov. Sergey specialises in corporate law and M&A. His recent projects include successfully representing a major Russian telecommunications company in its repurchasing of a minority block of shares in its subsidiary and acting for a major Finnish company to good effect in the restructuring of its wood processing business in Karelia.

"Pepeliaev Group’s Corporate Division is one of the key divisions in our firm," comments Pepeliaev Group’s Managing Partner Sergey Pepeliaev. "It generates substantial income for our business and attracts new clients. We are sure that this latest strengthening of our team will allow both our corporate practice and the firm itself to continue on its upward trajectory of growth."
