The Russian Federal Service for Labour and Employment released its official opinion: an employee who returns to Russia from abroad should be teleworking until negative COVID test results are received. The employee’s consent is not required.
As per the current sanitary rules, Russian nationals returning from abroad should self-isolate until they receive a negative test result. With reference to this requirement, the company may unilaterally institute teleworking arrangements for relevant travelers.
