Our real estate and construction practice in St. Petersburg helped the Client within the project aimed at the acquisition of the company, which was the owner of LDM (Leningrad Hall of Youth), a well-known multifunctional complex, and of the land plot beneath it. Our lawyers conducted a due diligence of the assets to be acquired by the Client (the overall space of the facilities analysed was over 30,000 sq.m.) in connection with the Client’s plans to demolish the building and develop the plot with elite residential property. Thanks to our recommendations, the Client was able to adequately assess the property offered for acquisition and to take measures to minimise the possible risks. The transaction, with a value of over RUB 4 billion, was successfully closed.
