Alexander started his career at leading Russian law firm Pepeliaev Group in 2003 as an in-house lawyer. Since 2009 he has held the position of Deputy CEO of the firm.
An independent Russian rating published by the Russian Managers’ Association in partnership with the Kommersant publishing house has hailed Alexander as featuring among the top 1000 Russian managers and many times among the top 5 best HR directors (“Professional services” sector). Further, in 2022 Alexander claimed the first place in the “Professional services” sector in the category “Top 100 HR directors”.
He is also a member of the Russian Managers’ Association.
In 2002, Alexander graduated from Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod and Dobrolyubov Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod.
He has earned an additional degree from the French-Russian University founded with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs by a consortium of four universities: Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, Dobrolyubov Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod, the Pierre Mendès-France University (Grenoble II), and the Stendhal University (Grenoble III). Upon graduation Alexander obtained degrees in Jurisprudence and in Linguistics and Translation.
