Narine specialises in resolving tax disputes and for more than 20 years, she has been providing legal support to clients when conflicts that need to be settled in court either occur or are threatened. She successfully represents taxpayers in litigations with tax authorities and participates in major advisory projects for Russian and foreign companies in the energy sector, automotive industry, and the manufacturing of and trading in food products.
Narine also has significant successful experience of settling disputes out of court and providing support during tax audits.
Narine's professional background includes defending clients in more than 100 cases for high-level Russian and international companies.
Projects include:
providing support during a tax audit of a major production company and of a large transportation company, which made it possible to significantly reduce the additional tax assessments;
representing a major Russian pharmaceuticals company in the Russian Supreme Commercial (‘Arbitration’) Court regarding negative exchange rates and bank fees being booked as non-sales expenses, in the context of article 307(3) of the Russian Tax Code;
representing a large construction company in litigation based on the results of a field tax audit, which made it possible for the tax authority’s claims for more than RUB 130 million to be held unlawful.
