Pepeliaev Group reports that the Russian Supreme Court has eliminated a contradiction in the case law, confirming that local tax authorities are restricted in controlling the prices of transactions.
On 11 April 2016, the Judicial Panel for Economic Disputes of the Russian Supreme Court (the “Supreme Court Panel”) handed down Ruling № 308-KG15-16651 in case № А63-11506/2014. The Ruling dealt with the issue of which particular tax authorities are entitled to control prices in transactions between related parties.
