A Pepeliaev Group lawyer has earned a State Award for professional education

Maxim Lyubchenko, an associate from the corporate practice in Pepeliaev Group's Krasnoyarsk office, has won the Krasnoyarsk Territory's State Award for professional education. The award recognised the outstanding results Maxim achieved in 2014 in teaching activities and academic research aimed at the social and economic development of the Territory.

As a postgraduate student at the Siberian Federal University, Maxim is working on his Ph. D. thesis in law specialising in Civil Procedure. At the same time, he teaches at the University. Maxim has authored and co-authored over 20 academic papers, including articles in leading Russian and foreign legal journals.

At Pepeliaev Group he specialises in commercial law, providing extensive advice to clients in a broad range of matters concerning various areas of business, and representing them in state commercial ('arbitration') courts. Previously Maxim worked in the State Commercial ('Arbitration') Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in its Department for Reviewing and Collating Judicial Practice and Legislation.
