Aydar Sultanov has joined Pepeliaev Group's team

Before joining Pepeliaev Group, Aydar Sultanov was head of the legal department of Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC for 25 years and he has made a significant contribution to the improvement of Russia’s legal system. He successfully represented the company’s interests in the Russian Supreme Court and in the Russian Supreme Commercial Court. In the Russian Constitutional Court, Aydar won 4 cases in which he represented not only Nizhnekamskneftekhim but also the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Aydar Sultanov has been actively engaged in academic work. He has published over 360 research papers, including 10 monographs, in leading Russian legal publications and journals. In June 2022, he successfully defended his PhD thesis: “Judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in civil proceedings in the Russian Federation”.
Aydar Sultanov has been included, for four years in a row, in the GC Powerlist Legal 500 list of the best lawyers and leading legal advisers in Russia. He has also been recommended by The Legal 500 ranking. He is an arbitrator of the Arbitration Centre at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
