Tatyana Udodova, a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Mediation Practice at Pepeliaev Group, has participated in a number of international events in China dedicated to investment, legal support for business and cross-border dispute resolution.
On 15 May, Tatyana spoke at a seminar on investing in Russia and dispute resolution organised by the HK45 community in Xi’an. HK45 is a leading non-profit association of young professionals in the field of international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution operating under the auspices of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).
On 16 May, at the invitation of one of China’s leading law firms, Tatyana participated in a forum on legal support for Chinese companies investing overseas. The event was organised by the Zhengzhou Bar Association and brought together leading legal experts and representatives of the legal community as well as business professionals from China, Russia, the United Kingdom, Mongolia and Malaysia. The forum attracted more than 360 participants, while an online broadcast drew an audience of over 6,000 viewers.
During her presentation, Tatyana spoke about legal support for Chinese companies implementing investment projects in Russia, placing particular emphasis on dispute resolution mechanisms and ways to minimise legal risks when conducting business in the Russian market.
