Elena Krestyantseva has been named Head of the Land Law, Real Estate and Construction Practice in Pepeliaev Group’s St Petersburg office.
Elena specialises in land law and environmental law, real estate and construction. She has a strong background in industrial safety legislation, and is well versed in dispute resolution.
At Pepeliaev Group, she handles projects that involve providing support on commercial real estate transactions and carrying out expert examinations with regard to companies’ real property. She also manages projects that are aimed at eliminating the legal risks associated with the construction, operation and leasing out of real estate facilities.
A particular asset Elena brings to her work is her experience of representing clients when real estate disputes are resolved in the Russian state commercial courts, before arbitral tribunals and in international commercial arbitration. These include disputes between real estate investors or developers and state authorities when investment projects are being implemented.
Elena graduated from the Law Faculty of St Petersburg State University. Having joined Pepeliaev Group in 2008, she has now completed an impressive rise from Junior Associate to Head of a Practice Group.
