Pepeliaev Group’s experts participated in a conference titled “No more nominees”

Pepeliaev Group’s experts participated in the conference “No more nominees” held by RBC on 9 November in Moscow. 

Yulia Litovtseva, Head of the Bankruptcy and Anti-Crisis Defence of Business at Pepeliaev Group, moderated the session: “Criminal and civil law liability of entrepreneurs. The main trends of 2017.” The discussion was dedicated, among other things, to the organisation of business processes aimed at reducing the risks of liability for a company's manager and other controlling persons, the issues of criminal law regulation and fighting criminal bankruptcies (fraud), and the decriminalisation of economic provisions of the Civil Code. 

The following speakers took participation in the discussion: Anatoly Vyborny, Deputy Head of the Committee for Security and Corruption Control in the Russian State Duma, Konstantin Chekmyshev, Head of the Department for Support during Bankruptcy Procedures at the Russian Federal Tax Service, Konstantin Sasov, Senior Associate at Pepeliaev Group, and others. 

Maxim Koshkin, Head of Criminal Defence of Business at Pepeliaev Group, moderated the session: “Criminal and civil law liability for the non-payment of taxes.” During the discussion, the participants addressed the issues of liability for tax offences and the prevention of civil law risks when doing business, among others.
