Headed by the firm's managing partner Sergey Pepeliaev, a team from Pepeliaev Group has been on a tour to the legendary Moskvich plant. The car manufacturer is a long-established and valued client of our firm. Several of Pepeliaev Groups other clients, who are representatives of large businesses, joined the tour, which was conducted by Maksim Klyushkin, the deputy director for project management and series production engineering.
Mr Klyushkin told his guests about the history of the plant and how they have relaunched production after the carmaker Renault withdrew. He also unveiled some plans to upgrade and localise the manufacture of spare parts. What struck the visitors most were the workshops equipped with robotic systems, including welding, assembly, painting and quality control shops. The participants in the tour became acquainted with the current models that Moskvich is currently producing and even drove a prototype of the innovative ATOM model.
Following the tour, Pepeliaev Group's team met with delegates from the legal and financial departments of Moskvich. During the meeting, the participants shared their impressions of visiting the plant and discussed how they would work together further.
Pepeliaev Group's team regularly goes on tours to production sites of its clients in various Russian cities. By diving deep into our clients’ business and learning its specifics inside out, we are able to formulate the most accurate proposals and to discern what 'hurts' client companies most acutely, as well as to determine their potential areas for growth. With our other business clients being involved in such tours, we are creating a platform for sharing experience and learning best practices to allow Russian business to develop.
