Konstantin Sharlovsky is a co-founder of the “Law and Medicine” master's programme at Moscow State University

Konstantin Sharlovsky, a Partner at Pepeliaev Group and Head of the firm's Life Sciences Practice, has become a co-founder of the new “Law and Medicine” master’s programme that has been launched at the Law Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
The programme is designed for lawyers who would like to specialise in medical and pharmaceutical law as well as for specialists in other branches of law.

Graduates of the programme will be able to apply the knowledge they will acquire in working for pharmaceutical or med-tech companies, healthcare institutions and publicly funded bodies within the healthcare system as well as in other projects.

“I hope that this small step in the system of higher education may become a leap in the professional development of every future graduate of the programme," comments Konstantin Sharlovsky. "The main aim of the master’s programme is to equip the new generation of lawyers with all the academic knowledge and practical skills they need if they are to be able to work in medical, pharmaceutical, med-tech and bio-tech companies. It will also provide the industry with highly-qualified specialists who are not only able to tackle routine tasks but who will also be able to make their own creative contribution to the development of the healthcare system and to how the pharmaceutical sector is regulated overall.
