Lawyers from Pepeliaev Group's Employment and Migration Law Practice organised a conference titled ‘HR-2017: The most topical legal issues’

On 30 November a conference was held in Moscow titled ‘HR-2017: The most topical legal issues’, which was arranged by Pepeliaev Group's Employment and Migration Law Practice. The event was broadcast to the firm's offices in Krasnoyarsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. 

Julia Borozdna, Partner and Head of the Practice, talked about what was new in labour legislation, and enforcement practice, as well as new draft laws. Vitalia Kuznetsova, Associate, talked in detail about how to successfully resolve the most problematic conflicts with employees. Roman Gerebtsov, Senior Associate, gave a presentation dedicated to the topic of ‘Foreign employees: how avoid a violation of labour legislation and to comply with migration rules’. 

The second part of the conference was devoted to topical matters relating to personal data laws, the implementation of electronic document flow, and court practice on labour disputes. The speakers were: Julia Borozdna, Dmitry Zykov, Head of the Data Protection Group, and Vitalia Kuznetsova, Associate. 

The event was attended by more than 70 professionals including HR specialists, lawyers, and risk managers of major Russian and international companies. The participants thanked the speakers for the relevant topics, the accessible way in which the material was presented, the review of court practice, and the provision of practical advice on the most problematic issues.
