Legal aspects of IT startup activity
Training Course
Every business starts with an idea. The more creative and unique the idea is, the more successful your business will be. Every stable business starts with the confidence that all your ideas bring the best value and are safeguarded from the risks that inevitably arise at every stage of a company’s development. Often young businessmen are fully preoccupied with ideas and forget how important it is to timely build legal protection of a business and their own interests before the first threats occur. This is especially topical for high tech and innovation companies.
Pepeliaev Group is launching a training course for IT-startups dedicated to legal aspects of their activity. The programme is aimed at a study of the most topical questions which young companies face, as well as of the areas of concern where the most risks are concentrated that prevent companies from developing and successfully starting their commercial activity. The topics include: building relationships with an investor, protecting intellectual property, resolving corporate conflict, complying with the regulator’s mandatory requirements and others. All topics are adjusted to the specifics of IT-startups.
The Professors are lawyers from Pepeliaev Group’s Digital Economy Legal Support Group.
Completing this training course will help to protect a young company from legal risks, to ensure an understanding of the ‘rules of the game’ on the market and, if needed, to prepare the business for a sale or the involvement of investors.
