Lidia Gorshkova attended the Business Russia Conference with a Delegation of Member Companies from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry

On 18 August, Lidia Gorshkova, a Partner at Pepeliaev Group and Head of the firm’s Banking and Finance Practice, took part in a conference and a series of B2B meetings with a delegation of companies that are members of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). The event was organised by Business Russia, the prominent association representing over 10,000 Russian businesses.

The meeting was moderated by Olga Kulikova, a Member of Business Russia's General Council and its Business Ambassador to India. The event was formally opened by Nonna Kagramanyan, Business Russia’s Deputy Chairperson and the Head of its Executive Committee. “Russian–Indian cooperation is of strategic importance,” she commented, “so our organisation is ready to exchange information and to discuss proposals in relation to implementing bilateral projects.”

Partner at Pepeliaev Group Lidia Gorshkova was a keynote speaker at the meeting. She addressed key issues of how to arrange the work of foreign companies in the Russian market, both in the context of import-export transactions and in relation to forming branches or subsidiaries.
