Natalia Prisekina has been appointed as an arbitrator of the Qingdao Arbitration Commission (People’s Republic of China) and a mediator of the Korean International Mediation Centre

Natalia Prisekina, Head of Pepeliaev Group’s Far East Office, has been appointed as an arbitrator of the Qingdao Arbitration Commission (People’s Republic of China) and a mediator of the Korean International Mediation Centre (Seoul, Republic of Korea).

The Qingdao Arbitration Commission was officially established on 10 April 1996. In 1997, the Qingdao Arbitration Commission was recognised by the Ministry of Justice of Shandong Province as “a demonstration window offering civic services”, the only one among the arbitration commissions of the entire province. In 2000, 2005 and 2007, the Commission was distinguished by the title Supreme Arbitration Commission of Shandong Province. In 2010, it was awarded the title of ‘Advanced Division’ for performing administrative functions in accordance with the legislation of Shandong Province. In 2011, the Commission was awarded the Qingdao Advanced Collective prize for performing administrative functions as contemplated in the Fifth Five-Year Plan in the sphere of legal advertisement. In 2012, it was awarded the title of ‘Advanced Propaganda Division’ for performing administrative functions in accordance with the legislation of Shandong Province. From 1998 to 2013, the Qingdao Arbitration Commission had been distinguished as a paragon in Qingdao’s ethical and cultural progress. In 2014 and 2015, it was awarded a prize as a paragon in Qingdao’s ethical and cultural progress. The Arbitration with Affinity mark was recognised as Shandong Province’s well-known brand in 2013. 26 arbitration centres and 60 representative offices were set up covering the entire territory of Qingdao, specialising in finance, insurance, construction, intellectual property, and sea shipping, with about 100 contacts being established. 

The Korean International Mediation Centre (KIMC) was inaugurated on 13 November 2020. KIMC is striving to become one of the world’s largest and most authoritative mediation centres to assist the out-of-court settlement of international disputes. It is KIMC's mission to work towards global peace by providing the world’s best mediation services to the parties to a dispute. 

Natalia Prisekina has vast experience in cross-border commercial and corporate transactions, in maritime, transportation and employment law, as well as in civil and international litigation. She has a track record in legal professional practice of about 25 years. Natalia has personally participated in providing legal support for major transactions in the Far East of Russia. She is also the honorary consul of the Republic of Chile in Vladivostok. Her consular jurisdiction extends to the Primorye, Kamchatka and Khabarovsk Territories, as well as to the Sakhalin and Amur Regions.
