Natalia Prisekina has again visited Harbin (PRC) with a business mission

On 15-28 June, Natalia Prisekina, a Partner at and Head of the Far East Office of Pepeliaev Group, visited Harbin (PRC) with a business mission.

During the visit, a series of meetings and round tables were held with leading Chinese law firms, representatives of the Harbin Bar Association, the Heilongjiang Lawyers Association and prominent Harbin-based enterprises. Additionally, meetings took place with the leadership of the Administration of the China (Heilongjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone for the Harbin Area, the Comprehensive Service Centre for Russia Cooperation in Harbin’s New District and the Sino-Russian Trade, Economic and Investment Chamber, as well as with the representative of Primorye Territory in Harbin. The discussions focused on cooperation and how legal support could be provided to foreign investors and those involved in cross-border economic activities between Russia and China.

Further to an invitation from the Law School of Harbin University of Commerce, Natalia Prisekina delivered a series of lectures for students and teachers concerning various legal matters of how business is arranged and carried out in Russia.

On 18 June, a meeting was held with the management of Harbin Arbitration Commission as well as the training for the Commission's arbitrators and students of Harbin's universities during which Natalia spoke about the current state of arbitration in Russia.

On 25 June, during a round table with the management of the Northeast Asia International Arbitration Centre and the Law School of Heilongjiang University, the attendees discussed issues pertaining to arbitration and how legal professionals are trained.
