Natalia Prisekina has delivered a lecture at Harbin University of Commerce (China)

Natalya Prisekina, a Partner at and Head of the Far East Office of Pepeliaev Group, has delivered an online lecture for students and teachers of Harbin University of Commerce (China) on “Developing business with China in the Far East of Russia. Preferential regimes for Chinese investors”. She had been invited to speak by the director of the School of Law of Harbin University of Commerce.

More than 300 Chinese students received valuable information about the current trade and economic situation, joint business projects with Chinese investors in the Far East of Russia, as well as an overview of their benefits and the prospects for their development. In the lecture, Natalia provided an overview of current and planned preferential investment regimes in the Far East as follows: a Priority Development Area, the Free Port Vladivostok, the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation, a Special Administrative Region and an International Priority Development Area. Other topics that have been covered included how disputes can be settled that involve Chinese investors and what the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its Vladivostok Department can offer.
