Law firm Pepeliaev Group has headed the Director's Handbook 2015 influential international rating in the "Leading tax law firm" category (Tier 1).
The official press release for the ratings advises that Pepeliaev Group brings together the largest tax team in Russia. The team consists of 70 fee-earners working under the ‘expert guidance’ of Sergey Pepeliaev,whose ‘astonishing attention to detail and commitment are matched only by his knowledge of Russia’s legal system’.
The Tax Director's Handbook notes that the tax practice comprises numerous sector-focused divisions. Its reach extends beyond Moscow thanks to offices in St Petersburg (where Sergey Sosnovsky is ‘an expert in regional tax incentive issues’) and Krasnoyarsk.
Pepeliaev Group has for several years featured prominently in leading positions in Tax Director's Handbook ratings. Previously the researchers mentioned that the firm's tax practice provides services of outstanding quality and has 'in-depth knowledge of national legislation'.
