Ilya Bolotnov has been named a partner of Pepeliaev Group’s corporate division of with effect from 1 July 2011.
Ilya specialises in corporate and contract law issues, with more than 10 years of advising both Russian and non-Russian clients. He has worked on asset acquisitions, restructurings, the formation of joint ventures, structuring of contractual relations in Russia as well as other corporate and contract law issues and antimonopoly regulation.
Ilya graduated from the law faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and also obtained a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) with distinction. Between 2007 and 2009, he worked in the Moscow office of law firm Hannes Snellman, while from 2001 to 2007 he was with the international consulting firm Grant Thornton.
From February 2009, Ilya has headed Pepeliaev Group’s commercial and M&A practice, providing advice on doing business in Russia to companies such as: Nike, Jaguar Land Rover, JTI, Procter & Gamble, Wal-Mart, Harry’s / Barilla, Armadillo / DPD, Billa, Electrolux and Ritter Sport Chocolate.
