Pepeliaev Group has made great strides in the Chambers Europe 2017 ratings

Pepeliaev Group has made striking progress in the Chambers Europe 2017 ratings. The firm’s IP Practice features in Band 2, an upwards move of one band in comparison with last year. Our Bankruptcy Practice also showed improved results, reaching Band 5. 

As for the individual ratings, Elena Sokolovskaya, Head of Pepeliaev Group’s Antitrust Practice, moved up one position to Band 3. Meanwhile, Sergey Klimenko, Head of the Commercial Practice, made the leap into Band 3 from the ‘Associates to Watch’ category. In addition, the following lawyers from the firm gained places in the ratings: Alexey Konevsky, Partner and Head of the Real Estate Practice (Band 4), Roman Bevzenko, Partner and Head of the Special Projects Group (Up and Coming), and Anna Berlina, Senior Associate of Employment Practice (Associates to Watch).

Pepeliaev Group continues to lead in such areas as tax and employment law (Band 1). The firm shows outstanding results in antitrust and corporate law, and in providing support to pharmaceutical companies (Band 2). Pepeliaev Group features among the three leading law firms on the Russian market in dispute resolution and providing legal support to real estate and construction (Band 3). 

In the individual ratings, there were outstanding results for: Julia Borozdna, Partner and Head of Employment Law Practice (Band 1), Valentina Orlova, Head of IP Practice (Band 2), Rustem Ahmetshin and Andrey Nikonov, Senior Partners of Tax Practice (Band 2), Vladimir Sokov, Senior Partner of Corporate Practice (Band 3), Valentina Akimova, Partner of Tax Practice (Band 3).

The reviewers from Chambers Europe gave high ratings to the results of the work of Pepeliaev Group’s St Petersburg Office: the Dispute Resolution Practice settled in Band 2, while the Real Estate and Constriction Practice remains in Band 3. In the individual ratings the reviewers gave Sergey Spasennov, Partner and Head of St Petersburg Office, and Sergey Sosnovsky, Head of Tax Practice, prominent ratings (Band 3).
