Pepeliaev Group has topped the World Tax ranking in Russia

World Tax, a directory of international tax firms, has placed Pepeliaev Group among the leaders (Tier 1) in the Russian market. Pepeliaev Group is the only Russian national law firm in Tier 1. 

The analysts of World Tax point out in their press release that Pepeliaev Group offers comprehensive support in the area of tax, including drafting documentation, tax litigation, tax-efficient corporate structuring and handling dealings with the tax authorities.

Professionals at the firm displayed great innovation and international tax expertise in assisting an American multinational corporation specialising in agrochemicals and agricultural biotechnology. The client required support in the restructuring of its business, to which Pepeliaev Group responded by performing a number of tax risk assessments and implementing methods for mitigating such risks when financial reports for the previous tax period were drafted.

The firm advises on a range of tax matters, with strengths in advising clients in banking and finance, energy, FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), telecommunications, health and pharmaceuticals, and retail.
