Pepeliaev Group is the general partner of the Russia's Best Legal Departments award

Pepeliaev Group has become general partner of one of the most important legal awards, Russia's Best Legal Departments, organised by Legal Insight magazine. This year, for the first time in the 9-year history of the award, the awards ceremony will be a part of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.

The awards ceremony will be preceded by an aperitif named "Antimonopoly compliance: Reality or Utopia?" organised by Pepeliaev Group jointly with the editorial board of Legal Insight magazine. Industry experts and representatives of businesses will discuss whether it is actually possible to create such a system, what risks will arise when it is implemented, what costs would be required to develop it and what practical steps have already been made in this direction.

The expert board of the awards includes representatives of the leading law firms and heads of the winning legal departments in 2013. Deloitte will count the votes. Every year the awards bring together legal departments of top 1000 Russian companies in terms of their book value. The nominees include legal departments of MTS, MegaFon, Interros, EuroChem, Raiffeisen bank and other companies.

This year the award covers a broad range of categories including automotive industry, energy production, IT, commercial banks, Mass Media, trade, pharmaceuticals, chemical industry, transportation and logistics, machine building, commercial construction, etc.

In addition to the primary events the guests will have an opportunity to exhibit their knowledge in an intellectual quiz game, enjoy an exquisite music programme and conclude the night at the gala dinner at the Peter and Paul Fortress.
