Pepeliaev Group represented Korea Exchange Bank in establishing and licensing of a Russian banking subsidiary

Pepeliaev Group, acting as Russian counsel in cooperation with the Seoul office of Shin & Kim, represented one of the largest Korean financial institutions in establishing and licensing of a Russian banking subsidiary of Korea Exchange Bank.  

Pepeliaev Group attorneys helped the client throughout the entire registration and licensing process, including the preparation of the necessary documentation and the regulatory filings.  The bank registration and licensing process lasted for more than a year and was successfully completed upon the issuance by the Russian Central Bank of a banking license to Korea Exchange Bank RUS LLC in July, 2014.
