Personal Lawyer Programme – legal first aid

Pepeliaev Group has launched the “Personal Lawyer” legal support programme for private clients. This is a joint initiative with Alfa Bank, available to VIP clients of the bank as a part of its Maximum service package. The Personal Lawyer service allows them to receive qualified legal assistance on the spot in emergencies or complicated legal situations.

For the first time in Russia, a bank is offering its clients not only financial and banking services and privileges, but also qualified legal assistance in emergencies (for more details please see http://www.alfabank.ru/retail/tariff_plans/maximum/). A dedicated team of Pepeliaev Group lawyers is ready to provide round-the-clock emergency legal help to the bank’s VIP clients, if needed, by phone or on site. They will assist with any emergency that may arise in everyday life, like a traffic accident, problems with law enforcement authorities or even a divorce.

“Our top priority as lawyers is to provide assistance and support, for example in emergencies and at times of emotional stress”, believes Sergey Pepeliaev, Managing Partner of Pepeliaev Group. “Let’s say our client is in a road traffic accident. In that situation, it’s very important to draft the protocol correctly, to determine the damage, specify property claims and so on – and that’s something a lawyer can really help with,” explains Mr Pepeliaev.

Pepeliaev Group focuses on providing services to major Russian and foreign companies. However, the firm recently observed that the number of requests for its services from individuals was increasing. Experts note that Russia is seeing the emergence of a financially secure middle class, whose problems and needs match their status. “Today, the culture of using lawyers to solve private issues is becoming established.
