At the invitation of Transparent Deal, Pepeliaev Group took part in the conference “The spring navigator: the big synchronisation”, which took place on the NTI (National Technological Initiative) platform.
Anton Pchelkin, an associate in Pepeliaev Group’s Intellectual Property and Trademarks Practice, spoke in the session “Risk management is the key to success in technological entrepreneurship”. During the debate, the participants and experts discussed the most important risks which technological entrepreneurs face as their projects are forming and developing: the intellectual property issues, risks relating to sanctions, and investment risks.
Anton Pchelkin spoke on how to resist the intellectual property risks. He recommended creating patent landscape maps and using them for performing a search, while simultaneously exploring the issue of how to refine your own idea so that it could be patented without any third-party rights being violated.
The participants of the event also included Dmitry Novichkov, Operations Director at Transparent Deal, Arseny Abbakh, founder of analytical company Dsight, and Sergey Glandin, Sanctions Law Counsel at Pen&Paper.
