Sergey Pepeliaev has been elected to the Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs

The Managing Partner of Pepeliaev Group, Sergey Pepeliaev, has been welcomed as a member of the Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. He was elected based on the results of the Congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs which was held on 9 February 2018.

The Board is the collective management body of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and is responsible for the general management of the activity of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs during the period between congresses. The Board comprises up to 150 people: representatives of major Russian corporations and enterprises, leading scientists, economists and public figures. 

The following issues were discussed within the framework of the recent congress: how to lower administrative barriers; how to optimise state control and to develop a competitive environment; how to stimulate investment activities; how to increase labour efficiency and the efficiency of the dialogue between businesses and the authorities. The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, took part in the work of the Congress.
