The list of affected sectors has been supplemented with water-borne and rail transportation
The Government's Resolution No. 927 dated 26 June has added passenger transportation by rail (i.e. a long haul service), marine and inland water-borne transport to the list of sectors “affected” by the spread of the coronavirus infection.
According to the announcement of the document on the Government’s official website the demand for travel by rail has decreased by over 77% as a result of the restrictions relating to the coronavirus. The situation is similar with passenger transportation by water-borne transport. The Government reminds you that now enterprises in the specified sectors will be entitled to specific measures of support: a deferral with regard to taxes (except for VAT) and lease payments, interest free and preferential loans, a moratorium on bankruptcy and audits and direct financial aid in the form of subsidies (grants).
