Konstantin Sharlovskiy spoke at the ‘Medicines of Russia - to an interdisciplinary dialogue’ Partnership Forum

The Head of the Life Sciences Practice at Pepeliaev Group, Konstantin Sharlovskiy, spoke at the ‘Medicines of Russia - to an interdisciplinary dialogue’ Partnership Forum. The experts present discussed issues associated with increasing the availability of medicines. The forum, organised by the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, was held in Kaliningrad with the support of Healthcare Ministry of Kaliningrad Region.

Within the framework of his speech, Konstantin touched on trends in the legal regulation of the state procurement of medicines in 2020-2021. He covered 4 main trends: the completion of the global re-registration of prices for vital and essential medicines, the reduction in the possibility to purchase medicines not included in the List, the recognition of the legitimate practice of regional pharmaceuticals in entering into framework contracts to purchase medicines and medical products under Federal Law No. 223-FZ, and the fight against cartels.

A Partnership Agreement between Pepeliaev Group and the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers was also signed within the framework of the Partnership Forum.
