Natalya Prisekina, a Partner at Pepeliaev Group and Head of the firm’s Far East Office has been appointed to the panel of arbitrators of the Hainan International Arbitration Court (HIAC) in China.
HIAC is an international commercial arbitration institution established by the People’s Government of Hainan Province and is based on the former Hainan Arbitration Commission. It specialises in the resolution of international commercial, investment and trade disputes, offering businesses an independent, efficient and confidential dispute resolution process, often with a focus on cross-border transactions within the free trade zone.
HIAC is regarded as an important instrument for safeguarding the interests of foreign investors and companies working with Chinese partners in the region.
Natalya Prisekina also serves as an arbitrator at several other well-known Chinese arbitration institutions, including the Harbin Arbitration Commission, the Xiamen Arbitration Commission, the Qingdao Arbitration Commission, the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission and the Xi’an Arbitration Commission. In addition, she is a certified mediator at the International Commercial Mediation Centre under the Belt and Road Initiative (Beijing) and a specially invited mediator for international commercial disputes in the Intermediate People’s Court of Qingdao, Shandong Province, China.
