Simplified procedure for employing foreign professionals

Federal Law No. 86-FZ dated 19 May 2010 “On Amendments to the Federal Law ‘On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation’ and Specific Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation” came into legal force on 1 July 2010.

On 20-21 May 2010, the first Volga tax forum “Tax Disputes: Theory and Practice” took place in Kazan. The forum was organised by the Kazan State Financial and Economic Institute (KGFEI) and the Nalogoved magazine and was sponsored by Pepeliaev Group.

Pepeliaev Group in cooperation with the Embassy of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg in Russia, together with the Luxembourg company ATOZ and the international association Taxand held a conference “Alternative (Islamic) Investment in Russia: Structuring Islamic Finance via Luxembourg”.
