Natalia Prisekina, a Partner at Pepeliaev Group and Head of the firm’s Far East Office, has received a letter of appreciation from the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission for having participated as an arbitrator in the 13th M.G. Rosenberg International Student Competition.
In addition, the Russian law firm Pepeliaev Group was recognised by the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission as a special partner of the Chinese qualifying round of the Competition. This recognition highlights how the firm is actively involved in the development of the international arbitration community and the strengthening of professional cooperation between Russian and Chinese legal institutions.
The M.G. Rosenberg Competition is an international student competition held in the format of mock arbitration proceedings based on a fictional case and dedicated to issues of international commercial arbitration and private international law.
This year, more than 85 teams from Russia, China, Kazakhstan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Armenia and Belarus took part in the Competition. As is customary, the Competition includes four sections, which are conducted in Russian, Chinese, English and French. This year, the Chinese section is being held with the support of arbitrators from the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission and brings together eight teams from China and seven teams from Russia.
