Protection of the interests of a French architect firm in the lawsuit for the recovery of debt from a counterparty

Lawyers of the St Petersburg Real Estate and Construction Practice successfully protected, in courts of three levels, the interests of a French architect firm; the lawsuit featured recovering debt from a counterparty which had not performed its obligations under an agreement to terminate a series of design contracts for residential buildings in St Petersburg. The court upheld our client’s claims in full; within the enforcement proceedings, not only was the principal debt refunded to our client but so was default interest for the delay in paying the debt. The total amount exceeded EUR 700,000.
