Successfully protected the client's personal assets in disputes about real estate
In an attempt to act in bad faith to become the owner of a business centre, the client’s former business partner initiated three simultaneous disputes, both in a bankruptcy case and in courts of general jurisdiction. The team of the Bankruptcy and Anti-Crisis Protection of Business Practice succeeded in having the first instance courts set aside the unlawful claims against our client by proving that the agreement to dispose of the asset had been terminated and that no grounds existed for it to be performed.
In the appellate court, we strengthened our success in one of the cases by refuting the claimant’s arguments that the the property was in nominal ownership and that the assets had allegedly been transferred. We also explained why our opponent had missed the limitation period.
