Developing draft amendments to legislation in the field of water disposal

We helped the client to fill gaps in the legal regulation of the discharge of substances into CWDS, for which the maximum permissible concentrations are not established in water facilities. Our team has developed draft amendments to the legislation in the field of water disposal (the Rules for cold water supply and water disposal).

We have already achieved our first successes - according to the results of the report we submitted and the main conclusions during an expert round table, the Ministry for Natural Resources and the Environment in general spoke out for unified approaches in regulation to the users of natural resources and subscribers of water utilities. In addition, the business community and scientific experts approved our conclusions unequivocal.

 Eliminating gaps in the legislation on water disposal in the future will save companies (including our client) from paying multimillion-dollar fines.
