Evgeny specialises in commercial and antitrust law, as well as in the application of the legislation that regulates trading activities and in commercial dispute resolution.
His main achievements
Evgeny has significant experience of taking part in commercial negotiations. He has on many occasions represented clients in cases that were being considered by the antitrust regulator as well as in the context of court proceedings relating to antitrust and commercial disputes. He handles complicated contractual matters, including forming Russian and international contracts, analysing problematic situations and issuing advice on various matters relating to the performance or termination of contracts.
Among Evgeny's major projects are:
- represented numerous international and Russian companies when agreements were entered into and when international contracts were performed or terminated;
- successfully represented a major Russian air carrier when a case regarding an alleged infringement of antitrust legislation was considered;
- successfully represented a major retail chain in litigation in which he challenged decisions of antitrust authorities;
- has acted for and defended clients in state commercial courts and courts of general jurisdiction in commercial and corporate disputes;
- has defended clients during investigations of violations of antitrust legislation and legislation regulating trading activities, as well as when administrative offence cases were examined and during court challenges to decisions of antitrust authorities.
