Pepeliaev is best known as “the number one tax outfit in Russia”, though its name in IP circles is increasingly well regarded. It supports clients on trademark protection matters throughout Russia and the CIS, as well as further afield through a network of carefully selected correspondents. “Theoretically outstanding”, Valentina Orlova heads the IP and trademark department. She has “added significantly to the practice” since joining from Rospatent, where she headed the legal division.
