Pepeliaev Group advises that on 9 April 2013 the Presidium of the Russian Supreme Commercial (‘Arbitration’) Court issued a ruling concerning the case of Citibank. In the ruling, the Court resolved the issue of taxable income arising when VIP clients receive bonuses from banks.
Pepeliaev Group advises that Federal Law No. 44-FZ “On the system of public procurement contracts for products, work or services for state and municipal needs” was adopted on 5 April 2013.
Federal Law No. 60-FZ dated 5 April 2013 amends the Russian Labour Code in terms of regulating the work of remote employees. The amended code describes how to enter into employment agreements with remote employees and how they should liaise with the employer. The Law comes into force on 19 April 2013.
