Pepeliaev Group is the partner of a new master's programme, relating to compliance, of the National Research University Higher School of Economics

Pepeliaev Group has become the partner of the new master's programme of the National Research University Higher School of Economics: “Compliance and prevention of legal risks in the corporate, state and commercial sectors”.

The principal purpose of the programme is to prepare specialists in the area of anticorruption and regulatory compliance and managing corruption, regulatory and non-commercial risks. 

The programme lasts for 2 years. The students who complete the programme successfully will receive higher legal education and a master’s degree as well as a specialisation in the areas of compliance and anticorruption. 
 
The description of the course notes that the programme will provide fundamental knowledge of the provisions of international law, as well as of the standards, legislation and best corporate practices in the areas of anticorruption, antitrust and tax compliance, and combating money-laundering and the financing of terrorism. Significant attention will be dedicated to business ethics at all stages of learning.

The Managing Partner of Pepeliaev Group Sergey Pepeliaev has been elected Chairman of the Academic Council of the master’s programme. The firm's Expert Sergey Taut will be the co-manager of the programme from practice. The teachers will include the leading compliance specialists of major Russian and international corporations, representatives of state authorities and 10 partners, heads of practices and experts of Pepeliaev Group.
