Pepeliaev Group’s lawyers protected the interests of a company’s CEO in a dispute about secondary liability for RUB 2.3 billion
The team of the Bankruptcy and Anti-Crisis Protection of Business Practice successfully represented in the first instance court and in the appellate court the CEO of a credit institution and defended him against the Deposit Insurance Agency’s claims in a dispute concerning secondary liability for RUB 2.3 billion.
As a result of a detailed check of the loans granted by the bank and of the security for them, we succeeded in refuting the Deposit Insurance Agency's conclusions that the loan debt had been evaluated improperly. Our comprehensive analysis of the credit institution's business activity enabled us to prove that the client had no grounds to take measures to prevent bankruptcy.
We maintained not only the client's assets, but its reputation as well.
