Aidar has specialised for over 30 years in the field of civil law and dispute resolution.
He possesses extensive experience of providing legal support to large businesses before the Presidiums of the Russian Supreme Court, the Russian Supreme Commercial Court and the Russian Constitutional Court, as well as in the European Court on Human Rights.
Aidar specialises in complex disputes involving state agencies such as antitrust bodies, tax authorities, and the public prosecutor’s office. This includes cases that involve challenging transactions under article 169 of the Russian Civil Code and the seizing of the proceeds of such transactions for the public purse.
He is an outstanding expert in legal procedure.
His main achievements
Applications to the Russian Constitutional Court that Aidar prepared have had a major effect on the improvement of Russian legislation and on the removal of unconstitutional provisions from the field of Russian law. He has won four cases in the Russian Constitutional Court.
Aidar successfully combines work in legal practice with academic research. He has published 14 monographs, together with over 460 academic and practical articles in various leading Russian legal publications and journals. He is one of the most cited experts in Russia on legal procedure.
Aidar has been awarded the Anatoly Koni medal, which is the highest award of the Russian Ministry of Justice.
