Pepeliaev Group advises that, on 20 December 2024, the Federation Council approved the Law amending the Code of Administrative Offences to the extent of administrative liability for a breach of Russian procurement legislation. At the same time, the corresponding amendments have been made to the Criminal Code.

Pepeliaev Group advises of the publication, on 30 November 2024, of Federal Law No. 420-FZ "On amending the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation" dated 30 November 2024. The Law will come into force on 30 May 2025.

Pepeliaev Group advises that, in its Resolution dated 31 October 2024, the Russian Constitutional Court concluded that the Russian Civil Code’s provisions regarding limitation periods do not apply to anti-corruption claims asserted by public prosecutors.
