Vladivostok hosted the official opening of Pepeliaev Group’s office and a business lunch dedicated to current legal trends

On 27 February, a business lunch: “Current trends and hot topics in legislation” was held in Vladivostok. During the event Pepeliaev Group’s experts shared their assessments of and recommendations for the most pressing topics today.

Ilya Bolotnov, a partner at Pepeliaev Group, addressed his welcome speech to the attendees at the beginning of the business lunch. He spoke about the firm and the speakers, who were drawn from different offices and practice groups of the firm.

Natalia Prisekina, partner and head of the Far East Office, spoke about topical issues for the activities of foreign investors in the Far East of Russia.

Andrey Mikulin, head of the Sakhalin Office, delivered a report entitled “Combating countermeasures to tax control: current trends in case law”.

Yulia Yurchenko, associate in the Siberian Office, elaborated on the main changes in legal regulation and administrative and judicial practice in the area of environmental protection.

Alexey Konevsky, partner from the Moscow office, covered amendments to the legislation on shared-equity construction in the housing sector.

Ilya Bolotnov, who opened the business lunch, told the attendees about the approaches in legislation and trends in the case law concerning civil law liability of members/shareholders and members of management bodies of companies.

At the end of the business part of the event, guests were cordially invited to a buffet reception on to mark the opening of Pepeliaev Group’s new office in Vladivostok. Over 50 guests attended the business lunch.
